To all of our valued clients,

As you are all aware, the crisis has altered the way in which we are able to provide care for our patients. As the community opens up, we strive to provide care in the safest environment possible. We are welcoming patients back into the clinic. We are screening patients prior to each visit. We have new procedures in place for sanitation and have modified scheduling to avoid multiple patients in reception. We ask that you contact us upon arrival and a staff member will take your temperature and escort you to your private treatment room. We ask that only the patient or essential assistant attend appointments. Children will not be allowed to accompany parents and we ask that drivers wait in their vehicle. All people in the building are asked to respect social distancing protocols. Masks are required.

For those of you with risk factors, we continue to provide Telehealth as an option to in clinic care. It is an effective means of assessment, updating and modifying your home program, as well as giving advice for your individual situation. We have been pleasantly surprised at the success of this for current clients. If you are interested in scheduling a telehealth appointment, please call or e-mail jept907@gmail.com and we will contact you to schedule.

For the safety of our clients and staff we will ask that you cancel your appointments if you or anyone that you are exposed to is experiencing possible Covid-19 symptoms: including cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache, muscle aches or fever. We also will ask that you reschedule if you or someone in your household has traveled out of state within the last 2 weeks. If the traveler has received a negative test after arrival, isolation can be reduced to 5 days.

We appreciate that you have chosen us to provide your Physical Therapy treatment. We know that you have many options and want to thank you for your confidence in our care. If you have concerns or questions about the pandemic, please go to the following website for up to date, accurate information: Alaska Department of Health and Social Services: COVID-19.

Sincerely,
Louise Wood DPT
